PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam structure for securing sufficient rigidity in a beam end joining part without increasing a steel frame quantity. SOLUTION: A width expanded part formed by joining a horizontal rib plate 18 is arranged at the end of a steel frame 16 for constituting a beam. This width expanded part forms a width contracted part 18b for reducing a width by cutting off the side of the horizontal rib plate 18 in a recessed shape. In the other embodiment, the width contracted part having a width gradually reducing toward the beam center side is arranged so that a yield starting position by the bending moment becomes the beam end side of the welding end of the rib plate. The steel frame 16 is composed of a web 12 and flanges 14, and a steel frame concrete beam can also be constituted by filling concrete between the flanges 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
