FIELD: organic chemistry, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention describes an agent for protecting cereal crops against phytotoxic by-side effect of herbicides. Agent comprises as a biologically active substance (antidote) one or some compounds of the formula (I) wherein X means independently of one another halogen atom or (C1-C4)-halogenalkyl; n means a whole number from 1 to 3; R1 means hydrogen atom, (C1-C4)-alkyl, (C1-C4)-alkoxy-(C1-C4)-alkyl; R2 and R3 mean independently of one another hydrogen atom, (C1-C6)-alkyl, (C2-C6)-alkenyl, (C2-C6)-alkynyl, (C3-C6)-cycloalkyl, (C1-C6)- halogenalkyl, mono- or di-((C1-C4)-alkoxy)-(C1-C4)-alkyl, [(C1-C6)-alkyl] -carbonyl, di-[(C1-C4)-alkyl]-aminocarbonyl, cyano-group, [(C1-C12)-alkyl] -oxycarbonyl, phenyl substituted with one or some residues taken among halogen atom and cyano-group taken in the amount 0.002-95 weight %; the special additions, the balance. Invention describes compound of the formula (I) wherein (X)n means 2,4-Cl2; R1 means hydrogen atom or (C1-C4)-alkyl; R2 means hydrogen atom or methyl; R3 means (C1-C4)-alkoxycarbonyl or carboxyl. Invention describes also method for it preparing by interaction of compound of the formula (II) wherein Y means chlorine or bromine atom; (X)n and R1 are given in the formula (I) with olefin of the formula (III): wherein R2, R3 are determined in the formula (I). Invention relates also to method for control of weeds in cereal crops by treatment of plants, plant seeds or planting area with herbicides taken in the combination with antidote of the formula (I) taken in the ratio herbicide : antidote from 10:1 to 1:10 and in the consumption norm 0.005-10 kg/ha as measured for antidote.
