摘要 PURPOSE: A method for improving efficiency of reduction-carbonization process of tungsten oxide is provided to improve reaction efficiency by performing carbon monoxide reaction process using inexpensive zeolite, alumina and silica gel and manufacture high quality tungsten carbide at low cost by reducing size of particles. CONSTITUTION: In a process of manufacturing tungsten carbide using carbon monoxide in reduction-carbonization process of tungsten oxide, the method for improving efficiency of the reduction-carbonization process of tungsten oxide is characterized in that the process is performed by reacting the mixture at a temperature of 300 to 800 deg.C after mixing carbon monoxide with materials having similar properties such as silica, alumina and zeolite as an efficiency improving agent, wherein tungsten carbide manufactured by the process using the efficiency improving agent has a particle size of 40 to 50 nm, and wherein tantalum carbide, titanium carbide and silicon carbide, or metal tantalum, metal titanium and metal silicon are produced by using tantalum oxide, titanium oxide and silicon oxide as the materials having similar properties instead of the tungsten carbide.
