PURPOSE: A composition for stabilizing an enzyme and a storage method of an enzyme using the same are provided, thereby storing enzymes with activity at room temperature for a long period, so that freezing equipments are not required to store them. CONSTITUTION: A composition for stabilizing an enzyme comprises 50 to 250 nM of dithiothreitol and 0.01 to 10 mM of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide. A storage method of enzyme comprises the steps of: (a) adding the composition for stabilizing an enzyme containing a solvent, dithiothreitol and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide into an enzyme to prepare an enzyme composition; (b) adsorbing the enzyme composition to a carrier; and (c) freeze-drying the enzyme composition-adsorbed carrier under reduced pressure, wherein the enzyme is selected from a restriction enzyme, reverse transcriptase, DNA polymerase, RNA polymerase and tag polymerase; and the carrier is cellulose paper.
