OVERLOAD RELAY HAVING SAFETY DEVICE

PURPOSE: An overload relay is provided to prevent erroneous operations of adjustment dial and trip bar caused due to user errors or impact applied from an external source. CONSTITUTION: An overload relay comprises an adjustment dial(14) and a trip bar(16) which are exposed on an upper cover(13); a cover(17) mounted on the upper cover in such a manner that the cover is rotatable and protects the adjustment dial and the trip bar; and a ring(13a) arranged on the upper cover so as to be connected to a lock device. The cover has a hole for passage of the ring, a protrusion(17b) for providing space for movement of the trip bar, and a handle(17c) for easily opening/shutting the cover.
