PURPOSE: Snap ring structure for a one-way clutch of an automatic transmission is provided to improve durability by effectively preventing a leakage of oil and securing smooth lubricating action of the one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION: In snap ring structure for a one-way clutch of an automatic transmission, section isolation parts(3) are projected toward each other at the ends of a snap ring(1). The section isolation parts fill up the width of the snap ring. The section isolation parts cross each other within the thickness of the snap ring. One section isolation part has an incised end(5) to the outside of the snap ring and the other section isolation part has a projected end(7) inserted into the incised end.
