TOUCH PANEL FOR DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A touch panel for a display device is provided to prevent an external noise due to static electricity by forming a conductive layer on a surface of the touch panel and putting to the earth as making a case top contact the conductive layer. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(21) displays an image by a driving signal and a video signal from the outside. An upper and a lower polarizing panel(22,23) polarize light by respectively adhering to an upper and a lower part of the LCD panel. A backlight(24) uniformly irradiates the light from the back of the LCD panel. A touch panel(25) of a resistive film type recognizes a touch position by outputting a different voltage according to the touch position. A conductive pattern is formed on an edge of an upper surface of the touch panel. The case top(29) is earthed to the conductive pattern, and supports the backlight, the LCD panel, and the touch panel as one body.
