The hydropneumatic suspension has at least one suspension cylinder (10), at least one storage device, especially a hydraulic storage device (18), and a controllable valve (20), especially a proportional valve for enabling or inhibiting a fluidic connection (64) between the cylinder and storage device. The controllable valve can be changed to the closed position by a hydraulic control device (22).
