<p>The cover grid consists of a sheet metal strip with ribs (3,4) defining flow slots (2) for heated air. The ribs are formed by bent metal sections, and are at least partially connected to stiffening elements (26), which are located below. The elements extend in longitudinal and/or transverse direction, and are formed continuously between the side edge bars (7,8) or the support edges (5,6). The ribs are made by a forming process, e.g. stamping or cutting, and bending. The stiffener elements are of wire or tube sections, or bent or angled metal strips. The side edge bars are covered by a clamped cover plate, e.g. of metal or plastic.</p> |
