The rotation body (01) of a printing press with a tampon (02) has a shaft through the center of the tampon. The shaft is more rigid than the tampon. There is at least one channel in the shaft, leading into the tampon, through which a tempering medium can flow. The channel may be in the form of an axial boring with a diameter of between eight and 30 mm.
