The device has an intensifier piston (27) with high pressure piston (11) and larger low pressure piston (12). The intensifier piston controls a connection (28) between a first control line connected to a feed connection, and a second control line, connected to the control valve. The connection is located completely within the movement stroke of the high pressure piston. Both control lines (24) open into the wall of the high pressure cylinder (10) within an area, which is located outside a high pressure chamber (9) defined by high pressure cylinder and piston, independent of the position of the intensifier piston. The opening of both lines is covered by a ring chamber (28), and there is a seal arrangement (32) with leakage drain (33).
