A hollow brush head (2) is attached to the handle (1). The compartment (5) containing the water or cleaning fluid is closed by a sliding lid (10). A sliding valve plate (8) at the bottom of the compartment has a row of holes (12) which may match up with conical fixed nozzles (4). The end of the valve plate extends toward the handle through a slot in the wall of the compartment and has a roughened end (9) to enable it to be slid with respect to the nozzles. The fixed nozzles have flexible rubber caps (7) and are surrounded by brush bristles (3).
