FILTER LAYER SAMPLE GATHERING DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A filter layer sample gathering device and a method are provided to easily gather samples for a filter layer of a filter paper and to observe the samples with the naked eyes. CONSTITUTION: A filter layer sample gathering device is composed of a cylindrical pipe(20) of the constant length; a screw(30) installed in the central part of the cylindrical pipe to move the samples from the lower end to the upper end in rotating; and a rotary operation unit(10) for rotating the screw from the upper end of the screw. The cylindrical pipe made from transparent materials to observe the inner part from the outside comprises a scale rule(25) longitudinally formed on the surface of the outer periphery and a protecting cap(26) disposed to the lower end of the cylindrical pipe to easily excavate the sample and prevent the breakage of the cylindrical pipe. A support knob(18) is inserted and installed in the upper end of the cylindrical pipe at the upper end of the screw, protruded out of the cylindrical pipe from a fixing support unit(15) having a rotary bearing(17) for the smooth rotation of the screw, and gripped by an operator to keep the balance of the cylindrical pipe and apply pressure in rotating the screw.
