PURPOSE: A power apparatus is provided to easily check whether each of units are completely mounted, and lengthen the lifespan of equipment by cutting off power of other equipment upon occurrence of failure, and opening a security switch when the operator opens a cover of the equipment. CONSTITUTION: A power apparatus comprises a first power input unit(210) for receiving main power supplied from an external source; a first switching unit(230) for switching the transmission of the power input through the first power input unit to a first module equipment(290); a power connector(240) connected to the power of the first power input unit, and which supplies power to a second module equipment(255); a second power input unit(260) for receiving power of the second module equipment; and a first switching control unit for controlling the switching operation of the first switching unit in accordance with whether a power is inputted from the second power input unit.
