A measurement system (1) for sensing of structure-borne sound in the components of machines, especially machine tool housings. The system comprises a mounting pin (2) and at least a vibration sensor (7a). The vibration sensor housing (7) together with its sensor is mounted on the mounting pin while the latter is screwed into the lubrication hole (16). This ensures that the sensor lies against a metallic housing (6) through which vibration from the machine housing is directly transmitted to it. The measurement system also comprises a temperature sensor (10) for detecting the temperature of the machine housing.
