PURPOSE: A system for cutting off leakage gas of blast furnace bottom part is provided to prevent leakage of gas using liquid metal such as mercury by sensing gas pressure when gas is leaked from the furnace bottom part during blast furnace operation and collecting leaked gas into a certain collecting pipe. CONSTITUTION: The system for cutting off leakage gas of blast furnace bottom part comprises a gas collecting means comprising a gas collecting pipe(13) which is cohesively fixed to the furnace bottom part of blast furnace, and to which cooling water inlet pipe(21c) and cooling water outlet pipe(23) are connected, a digital manometer(14) penetratingly installed on an upper surface of the gas collecting pipe(13) to sense pressure of leakage gas, and a gas discharge electronic valve(15) installed on an upper part of the gas collecting pipe(13); a collecting pipe pressure control means comprising a mercury tank(20) connected to one side of an upper part of the gas collecting pipe(13) so that the mercury tank(20) is connected to a mercury supply pipe for supplying mercury to the gas collecting pipe(13), a nitrogen line(22) connected to one side of an upper part of the gas collecting pipe(13) to supply nitrogen to the gas collecting pipe(13), and a mercury discharge pipe(24) penetratingly installed on a lower surface of the gas collecting pipe(13) to discharge the mercury supplied to the gas collecting pipe(13); and a gas exhaust means comprising a gas suction pipe(17) installed directly above an upper part of the gas collecting pipe(13), and an exhaust fan(18) connected to an upper part of the gas suction pipe(17).
