PURPOSE: A pressure compensating device of a gas lifter is provided to smoothly operate the gas lifter even if the temperature of use regions is changed by varying the volume of an operation space of the gas lifter to the change of temperature. CONSTITUTION: A gas lifter(L) is composed of a pipe(10) of which one end is combined with a fixing clip, filled with gas; a rod(20) of which one end is inserted into the pipe and the other end is combined with the other fixing clip(21); a piston(30) inserted into the front end of the rod embedded in the pipe and formed with an inducing groove(32) for flowing gas at one side; a sealing member(40) for sealing the pipe not to flow out gas filled in the pipe; and a stopper(50) for controlling the movement of the rod. A pressure compensating device of the gas lifter comprises a separating plate(70) for dividing the inside of the pipe into main and auxiliary pressure chambers(60,61) and including a through-hole(71) in the center; an orifice(81) drilled through the auxiliary pressure chamber to keep the pressure of the auxiliary pressure chamber same with the atmospheric pressure; a pair of movable members(80) movably installed in the auxiliary pressure chamber; a spring(83) elastically installed to the inside of the movable member by a hook(82); and a sealing ring(90) disposed to the outside of the movable member to cut off the main and auxiliary pressure chambers, respectively.
