<p>The invention provides an apparatus and a method for treating powdery waste by heating at high heating efficiency and without inducing problem of adhesion of powdery waste to the peripheral wall surface of the apparatus. The apparatus and the method for treating the powdery waste by heating adopt a gas outlet opening at upper portion of the vertical and cylindrical heat-container, adopt an inlet opening for gas to fluidize the powdery waste at bottom portion thereof, and adopt agitator blades for agitating the powdery waste. The agitator blade has 30% or less of the ratio of the horizontally projected area of the agitator blades to the area inside the envelope of outermost edges of the agitator blades. <IMAGE></p> |
