PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to achieve improved convenience by supporting multiple languages and allowing audiences of drive-in theaters to select languages. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a server(10) for extracting language information of each nation supported for the movie being played, putting the extracted information into digital data form, and transmitting the data; road side equipment(50) arranged in a drive-in theater; a distributor(20) for distributing language data provided from the server to each of the road side equipment; a first modem(30) for modulating language data applied from the distributor, and transmitting the modulated data to the road side equipment through a communication LAN; a second modem(40) for demodulating language data received from the first modem; an antenna(60) for transmitting language data applied from the road side equipment; a vehicle mounted terminal(70) for extracting the frequency for the language data of the nation selected by an audience from among the language data received from the antenna; and an audio(80) for automatically selecting the frequency in accordance with the frequency band received from the vehicle mounted terminal, and transmitting the language and sound of the selected nation. |
