<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for correcting a moving picture error are provided to improve image quality by searching a green-pink block with respect to a recovery image in which an error is not detected and hiding the searched green-pink block. CONSTITUTION: An error detecting unit(222) discriminates whether an error is generated in a decoded moving picture bit string with reference to a code book. An error detecting unit(225) judges continuity between a macro block currently decoded with respect to the moving picture bit string in which the error is not detected in the error detecting unit(222) and an adjacent macro block, and detects an error when the continuity does not exist. An error correcting unit(226) hides the corresponding macro block in which the error is detected in the error detecting unit(225), and corrects the error.</p> |
