The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating a control signal for an electrical/electronic peripheral as a function of a respiratory flow of a subject (3) the operating principle of which is based on the acquisition of a signal produced by the subject (3) by means of the respiratory flow which can easily be modulated using the facial and nasal muscles.
