GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE PROVIDING METHOD FOR DESIGNATING COLOR OF VOLUME RENDERING IMAGE

PURPOSE: A graphic user interface providing method for designating a color of a volume rendering image is provided to quickly and accurately grasp a structure by designating a set of colors previously selected through a test once. CONSTITUTION: When a user changes a color expressed as an opacity transition function, the user selects the opacity transition function by a mouse. A window is provided for selecting a color map, capable of being applied to the selected opacity transition function, which is a set of previously stored colors. If the color map is selected on the provided color map selection window, a volume rendering image is illustrated by a changed color using the selected color map and pixel values.
