PURPOSE: A device for regulating the buckling load of a steering column is provided to secure an optimized buckling state of the steering column for various collisions by variously supplying the buckling load of the steering column to the collision states of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device for regulating the buckling load of a steering column is composed of a mounting bracket(1) for fixing the steering column to a vehicle body; a strap(3) of which one end is fixed to the vehicle body, penetrate-inserted through the mounting bracket; a supporting pin(7) mounted to the mounting bracket to support that the strap is came out of and deformed for the mounting bracket; a supporting pin removing device for removing a state that the supporting pin is contacted with the strap; and a control device for controlling the supporting pin removing device.
