The invention relates to a ceiling element for a cooling or heating system which is provided with a frame (2) having a pipe (9) for a heat transport medium extending in loops, and means (11) for distributing heat which extend between the loops (10) and which are connected in heat conducting manner to the pipe. The heat distributing means can herein have an open structure, for instance a honeycomb structure. The ceiling element according to the invention enables uniform heating or cooling of a room area with simple means.
