The compacter consists of a suction plate (1) with three different apertures (2, 3, 4) for introducing flexible containers to be compacted, and an adapter cone (6) for attaching a household vacuum cleaner (5) to it. The vacuum cleaner creates a depression in the plate and reduces the volume of containers inserted in the apertures. A telescopic tube or flexible hose (8) has a second adapter cone (7) on one end and a coupling sleeve (12) with on the other for connecting to a garbage sack (10). The sleeve has a non-return valve (9) and a filter (11) to prevent any air getting back into the sack or garbage escaping while it is being tied. The plate is mounted on a column (13) set up on a garbage sorting box. |
