Joint filler composition comprises 50-60% calcium sulfate hemihydrate, 5-15% of an organic binder in powder form and 0.05-0.2% of a water repellent. Independent claims are also included for: (1) forming a structure by juxtaposing structural elements, mixing the above composition with water to make a filler, filling the space between the structural elements with the filler without using tape, and allowing the filler to harden; (2) joint between two structural elements, produced as above.
