PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum trap for quickly discharging a large quantity of condensate. SOLUTION: In this vacuum trap, a float valve 9 is provided to be displaced between a closing position to close a valve hole 7 opened at a lower part of a condensate reservoir 4 connected to an inlet 5 and an opening position to open the valve hole 7 by moving between the condensate reservoir 4 and an outlet 6 connected to a vacuum source in accordance with a water level in the condensate reservoir 4. Separately from the float valve 9, a pressure regulating valve 12 is provided to be displaced between a closure position to close a second valve hole 10 opened at an upper part of the condensate reservoir 4 and an opening position to open the second valve hole 10 in accordance with differential pressure between pressure on the side of the condensate reservoir 4 and pressure on the side of the outlet 6. The pressure regulating valve 12 is displaced to the opening position to open the second valve hole 10 by means of the float valve 9 displaced to the opening position to open the valve hole 7.
