PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oriented film which has excellent sense of stiffness due to having mechanical properties characteristic of a polyester film, deals with thinning, has excellent thermal properties and excellent resistance to fatigue from flexing. SOLUTION: The oriented film comprises a polyester which has≥225°C melting point and consists essentially of ethylene terephthalate and two or more of ethylene-based polymers selected from a polyethylene or an ethylene-based copolymer (except an ethylene-based copolymer obtained by ionizing anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid), and the ratio of the weight of the polyester to the total weight of the ethylene-based polymer is 80/20-99/1 (wt.%).
