PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide mimetic template for designing a TGF-βsignal transmission control substance. SOLUTION: The peptide mimetic template comprises a specific amino acid sequence or an amino acid sequence of Ser Glu. A method for screening the TGF-βsignal transmission control substance comprises using the peptide mimetic template for designing the TGF-βsignal transmission control substance.
