PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate different agents for each user. SOLUTION: A shared knowledge base 4 and a service data base are made accessible through a network 3, and a request from each user is self-learnt by learning programs 12 and 22 which reside in terminal computers 1 and 2. In the same way, knowledge bases in agent programs 11 and 21 which reside in the terminal computers 1 and 2 are updated for each agent according to the statistic processing of learning results, and agent functions close to the expectation of each user is always automatically realized by learning.
