HOLOGRAM RECORDING APPARATUS AND HOLOGRAM RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording apparatus which records data on a hologram recording medium without using liquid crystal elements. SOLUTION: The hologram recording apparatus includes a diffraction control element which receives a laser beam emitted from a laser beam source and controls the diffraction of the received laser beam before letting it exit, and a beam condensing element which condenses the diffracted light emitted from the diffraction control element onto the hologram recording medium. The information corresponding to the diffraction condition in the diffraction control element can be recorded on the hologram recording medium by condensing the light controlled in the diffraction condition by the diffraction control element onto the hologram recording medium.
