PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic direction measuring apparatus which dispenses with a calculating means and mechanical operation such as rotation, etc., has simple structure and does not exert any influence on its mass productivity, and enables high-precision direction measurement in addition. SOLUTION: When a condition decision circuit 8 detects that a switched output signal becomes maximum (a positive peak), a trigger signal tr is generated. An output interface circuit 9 holds this switched signal by this trigger signal tr. The switched signal held by this interface circuit 9 represents the position of each detecting coil parallel to an external magnetic field H digitally.
