PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dentinal adhesive material providing excellent adhesiveness between dentin and a restorative material for dentistry, and having excellent properties for sealing the periphery. SOLUTION: The subject primer composition contains a polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol monomethacrylate or an aqueous solution thereof. A method for sticking the dentinal adhesive material comprises pretreating the dentin with EDTA, subjecting the pretreated dentin to a primer treatment using the polyethylene glycol or the aqueous solution thereof, and coating an adhesive thereon.
