PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a grooved pulley capable of reducing manufacturing costs by forming a flange portion and a V-groove by form rolling only. SOLUTION: A work before roll-forming whose height of an outer casing portion 1a' of the work 1 is lower than the height of the outer casing portion 1a of the grooved pulley 1A which is a product is set so as to form a clearance g on the upper surface of the outer casing portion 1a' between a rotating upper die 2 and a rotating lower die 3 and by using three forming rolls in sequence such as a flat shaping roll 5, a V-groove preforming roll 6 and a V-groove forming roll 7, and by forming the flange portion 11 and the V-groove 12 in the outer casing portion of the work by form rolling works which are in the same processes, the grooved pulley is manufactured.
