摘要 PURPOSE: A sintered ore manufacturing method is provided in which hot return ore coated on the upper surface of sintering raw materials functions as a sort of heat insulation material, thereby prevents weak sintering layer from forming on an upper part of the sintering raw materials to improve recovery ratio of sintered ore and produce high quality sintered ore. CONSTITUTION: In a sintered ore manufacturing method comprising the processes of mixing and granulating sintering raw materials transferred from storage bins(10) and return ore storage hopper(20) in a mixer(24); supplying the mixed and granulated sintering raw materials into sintering car(60) through surge hopper(30); igniting the supplied sintering raw materials using an ignition furnace(50); and firing the sintering raw materials by absorbing heat into the sintered raw materials from wind boxes(61) as moving the ignited sintering raw materials, the method is characterized in that hot return ore having diameter of 5 mm or less in the sintered ore discharged after completing firing is coated to a thickness of 20 to 30 mm on the surface of an upper part of the sintering raw materials passing through the ignition furnace, wherein a hot return ore storage hopper(90) is installed in front of the ignition furnace, and a hot return ore damper(80) is installed at the middle of a transfer path for transferring hot return ore to the return ore storage hopper so that the supplied hot return ore is coated on the surface of an upper part of the sintering raw materials passing through the ignition furnace after supplying some of the hot return ore transferred to the return ore storage hopper into the hot return ore storage hopper by a hot return ore damper(80).
