PURPOSE: A disc-type ceramic opening and closing cartridge for a stop valve is provided to quickly shut off the flow of fluid, to secure the perfect opening and closing of a valve by improving airtightness and durability, and to increase the reliability of the valve by cutting off the leakage. CONSTITUTION: A cartridge body(110) is composed of a combining plate unit(112) for closing a chamber integrated to the upper end of a cylinder(111) vertically fixed and arranged to the chamber of a valve housing with dividing an inflow inlet and a discharge outlet; a supporting hole vertically formed in the cylinder; at least one discharge hole(114) for communicating with the supporting hole formed on the outer periphery of the cylinder; a shaft inserting hole(115) formed in the center of the combining plate unit with the supporting hole and a sill unit; and a combining hole(117) formed at the edge of the combining plate unit and combined with a bolt for combining with the valve housing. A packing damper(120) is fixed and combined between the bottom of the chamber and the lower end of the cylinder of the cartridge body and composed of a hollow unit(121) communicating with the inflow inlet of the valve housing therein. A ceramic valve seat(130) is made from ceramic materials, fixed and combined to the supporting hole of the cylinder positioned under the discharge hole of the cartridge body with closely contacting to the upside of the packing damper, and formed with at least one through-hole(131) communicating with the hollow unit of the packing damper. A ceramic opening and closing disc(140) is rotatively combined to the supporting hole of the cylinder at which the discharge hole of the cartridge body is positioned, with contacting to the upside of the ceramic valve seat and composed of at least one opening and closing hole(141) formed at the bottom to selectively communicate or close the through-hole of the ceramic valve seat and the discharge hole of the cartridge body and a connecting recessed groove(142) formed at the upside. A ceramic closing disc(150) is closely contacted to the sill unit and the supporting of the cartridge body and the ceramic opening and closing disc, fixed and combined to the supporting hole of the cylinder positioned at the upper side of the discharge hole of the cartridge body, and composed of a shaft admission hole(151) formed at the inside. A valve shaft(160) is vertically combined to the shaft inserting hole of the cartridge body and the shaft admission hole of the ceramic closing disc to rotate and composed of a connecting projection unit(161) formed at the bottom and inserted into the connecting recessed groove of the ceramic opening and closing disc.
