PURPOSE: A reel system of a magnetic record and regeneration system is provided to maintain stably a power transmission by maintaining a gap between a clutching member and a upper and a lower disc, and preventing the clutching member from being moved. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a lower disc(31), an upper disc(33), a reel gear(35) and a clutching member(37). The lower disc(31) is rotationally supported by a fixed axis installed at a main deck. The upper disc(33) is assembled to an upper part of the lower disc(31), and mounts a tape cassette. The reel gear(35), arranged between the upper and the lower disc, rotates by a power transmitted from a capstan motor. The clutching member(37), coaxially fixed at the reel gear(35) and elastically supported by the two discs(31, 33), generates a friction force with the discs(31, 33).
