PURPOSE: A card for storing specimens is provided to maintain states of hair specimens during a long period of time by using an adhering unit and a hair root protection unit. CONSTITUTION: A card for storing specimens includes a hair adhering unit, a hair root protection unit, and a detachable cover unit(7). An adhesive is coated on the hair adhering unit. The hair root protection unit is located on the hair adhering unit. The detachable cover unit(7) protects the hair adhering unit and the hair root protection unit. The hair root protection unit is fabricated by the predetermined paper for preventing the deterioration of the hair root. The predetermined paper is processed by the solution including Tris-HCl of 1 to 5 weight percent, EDTA of 1 to 5 weight percent, NaCl of 1 to 5 weight percent, and SDS of 1 to 5 weight percent.
