The coupling part (18) between the ends of the axial arms (11) of the sealing rings (10) comprises an almost undeformable body with radial ring-shaped parts (20). These parts are spaced apart so that when the shaft (3) rotates, the radial arms (12) of the rings are urged against the parts. Each part has an axial ring-shaped part (21) extending around its outer periphery, which cover the ends of the radial legs when the shaft is still. The leadthrough comprises at least two sealing rings made from rubber or similar elastic material, which are housed inside a casing (4) for securing to the bulkhead (1). Each sealing ring has an essentially L-shaped cross-section and is placed around the shaft so that the ends of the axial arms abut against each other and are joined together by a coupling part, whilst the ends of the radial arms are elastically supported against the inside (16) of the radial side walls (9) of the casing.
