PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt hinge that is small, and of small diameter, capable of generating necessary friction torque. SOLUTION: This tilt hinge connects a first member and a second member that are relatively opened/closed to each other to be capable of friction-rotating. It is composed of a holder installed on either the first member or the second member, a shaft installed on the other to be relatively rotatable to the holder, and immovable in an axial direction, a plurality of first friction discs to insert the shaft to each insertion hole to be movable and axially movable while restrained to the holder, a plurality of second friction discs provided between the first friction discs to be axially movable while restrained from rotation by the shaft, and elastic means provided on the shaft to axially press the first friction discs and the second friction discs to each other.
