PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver superior in serviceability for the channel selection. SOLUTION: A demultiplexer 3 separates channel list data and a remote controller key ID from digital broadcast waves radiated from a broadcast station. A CPU 13 acquires these data. It relates frequency information and channel lists for receiving the broadcast station to one-touch keys having numbers shown by the remote control key ID. A user pushes down the one-touch key to select one channel, based on a channel list in a memory 14. The user successively pushes down the same one-touch key to indicate the channel list on a screen. Thus, the user can select a desired channel from the indicated list, using direction keys and a decision key. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
