PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adoption of a freezing method, and besides, to enable thinning of the freezing wall and further, unnecessitate the withdrawal work of the freezing pipes when starting or so the shield machine. SOLUTION: A part through which a shield machine of a shaft wall 1 passes is constituted of a granular wall body 3 in which mud water and granular bodies are mixed together. A freezing piping 5 made of a latticed fiber reinforced body 4 which is cuttable by a shield cutter and a cold resistance resin which is cuttable by a shield cutter is arranged into the granular body mixing wall body 3. After the wall body 3 is frozen by pouring a coolant into the freezing piping 5, by cutting the frozen mixing wall body 3 by the shield machine 2, the shield excavator is let to start or arrive.
