PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step for ingress and egress to and from an automobile having excellent usability and handleability and extremely advantageous designability by widely and effectively utilizing a space between a vehicle body and a door for the step when opening a side door. SOLUTION: The step for ingress and egress to and from this automobile is constituted of a side spoiler 12 mounted at a lower end of the side door 1 and the step 11 extended from the lower end to be used at the time of getting on/off the vehicle. The step 11 is formed into substantially a fan shape so that the thickness may be gradually thin from the side spoiler 12 to the step 11 and the surface may present smoothness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
