PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus, a cartridge, an image forming system and a storage medium for the cartridge are provided to reduce the quantity of shaving of a photoconductive drum and form an image on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION: A process cartridge(C) including a photoconductive drum(1) and a charging member(2) for charging the photoconductive drum is detachable set in an image forming apparatus(100). The cartridge includes a storage medium having a storage area for storing information about charging current that will flow during a non-image forming period. The image forming apparatus includes a control unit(24) for switching voltage applied to the charging member according to the information stored in the storage medium.
