<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a safe travel by automatically moving auxiliary wheels downward to the rear of a traveling road surface by a movement of the center of gravity of an electric wheelchair when the wheelchair is climbing up an uphill road and preventing a rollover due to the rearward inclination of the wheelchair's body. <P>SOLUTION: The wheelchair moves down the auxiliary wheels 3 behind the rear wheels 2 with respect to the body 1 on the basis of the rearward movement of the center of gravity of the body 1 during a travel with a user on board.
