PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid detergent free from stretching feeling of the skin after using while maintaining detergency of a fatty acid salt and fresh feeling, excellent in whippability and being safe to the skin of users and excellent in moisture retention and a solid detergent which is stable with passage of time and has good mold release property. SOLUTION: (1) The solid detergent composition comprises (A) an alkali metal salt or an alkanol amine salt of a fatty acid, (B) a cationic polymer and (C) 1-20% amino acid-based surfactant.
