Provided is a digital audio amplifier which can increase a self-oscillation frequency by using a phase lead-lag compensator and is made up of a reduced number of elements. The digital audio amplifier includes the phase Lead-lag compensator. The phase lead-lag compensator performs a lead-lag compensation on the phase of an output signal in order to obtain a feedback signal. Thus, the self-oscillation frequency is increased. Also, in the digital audio amplifier, a single comparison circuit having a hysterisis characteristic can execute the functions of both an error amplifier and a comparator in a conventional self-oscillation digital audio amplifier. Thus, the digital audio amplifier can be made up of a reduced number of elements. Thus, if the digital audio amplifier is implemented as an integrated circuit, the size of a chip can be reduced. |
