CROSS-ROTATION COUPLE VORTEX GENERATOR OF ROTOR BLADE OF HELICOPTER FOR REDUCING NOISE CAUSED BY BLADE-VORTEX INTERACTION

PURPOSE: A cross-rotation couple vortex generator of a rotor blade of a helicopter for reducing noise caused by BVI(Blade-Vortex Interaction) is provided to reduce BVI noise by increasing the descending speed of vortex generated at the blade tip of a rotor by generating two vortexes rotating in opposite directions. CONSTITUTION: A cross-rotation couple vortex generator of a rotor blade(10) of a helicopter for reducing noise caused by BVI is slantly mounted with an oblique blade(11) installed to the upside near the tip of the rotor blade and composed of front and rear units(21,24) to reduce the noise by generating the cross-rotation couple vortexes through a connecting unit(22). The oblique blade is mounted at 80¯95% position of the radius of the rotor and at the angle of 20¯40 degrees from the inside of the blade.
