<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose the relationship between a biological tissue and its elasticity accurately by using an ultrasonic diagnostic image. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 1 comprises a tomogram constructing part 18 that transmits ultrasonic waves repeatedly to a subject at time intervals, receives time-series reflected echo signals corresponding to the transmitted ultrasonic waves and constructs a shaded tomogram, an elasticity image constructing part 20 that measures the displacement of the biological tissue of the subject on the basis of the time-series reflected echo signals to acquire elasticity information and constructs a color elasticity image, an image composing part 22 for making a composite image by adding the tomogram and the color elasticity image at a predetermined ratio, and a display part 24 for displaying the obtained composite image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
