摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display quality by reducing deterioration of optical characteristics at an inclined region placed on a boundary between a transmissive display region and a reflective display region in the case a multiple gap mode is used.

SOLUTION: On an array substrate 1, a light shielding film 10 with low transmittance and low reflectance is provided under an insulation layer at the inclined region placed on the boundary between the transmissive display region where a transparent electrode 12 is formed and the reflective display region where a reflection electrode 14 is formed on the insulation layer 13.
